I can totally relate Mark. I plan on doing a video post where I walk around a shopping center and pick up items which can inspire us.

You have found a good place of inspiration. :)
I'll have to check out some of those kinds of films, and see where I can take my freelance career from where it is to something greater.
Your shopping center video will sure be interesting to watch, I look forward to it.

Its good when you just step back and look at other parts of the creative industry from your perspective. So I agree :)
Dugg! ;)

@Philip - I went to the shopping center over the weekend and took some pics of items which I would talk about.... not as easy as I thought to be honest. Although I definitely want to do it some time. Stay tuned.
@Rob - Thanks for the Digg Rob :)

Awesome! Its always great to get inspiration from different sources, would love to see your shopping centre finds- have a look at the David LaChappelle ad campaign Clover did not so long ago must have cost them an absolute fortune to get him to do it and yet they hardly used the images..
Another place to look that is always great is art exhibitions, the William Kentrdige showcase to Iziko last month was mind blowing, featured 8 projector screens, you have to watch the documentry which shows the method in how he works its absolutely incredibly!!

Yea! I'm gonna apply CGI in my next website, use a deep Darth Vader voice in the background telling people to buy stuff and paint my face in the colors of the Joker and laugh really freaky :)
But seriously; You have an excellent point here. There's inspiration everywhere, not just online. I got my recent inspiration from looking at the sky from my window. It's awesome to be a designer :)
