About the Show

On Saturday Marc and I we invited to the Alt. Conference to speak about video blogging. This was our first ever public speaking event so the nerves were all over the place!

Despite all the stress it actually turned into a cool conversation between everyone in the room.

You are welcome to give us feedback on how we did and what we spoke about (we don't expect rave reviews btw).

Thanks for this insight into From The Couch. Was a really interesting presentation, especially liked the point that was raised on how to scale a web business - though not sure that you 100% nailed the answer.

For me, as someone just starting out in business - but I should add with loads of experience working in IT, internet services & business consulting - I am not too worried about scaling. I want to make a living doing what I love and provide a great service / product to my clients. If it really takes off then that's a bonus, but for now I'm just concentrating on the little things.

At the back of my mind, though, is the question of how to grow beyond a certain size and the problems of scaling a knowledge & skill based business. But right now I'm not worried about it - after all it is a nice kind of problem to have :-)

I'm grateful for the TubeMogul hookup. That was classic...

Do you really find that the rants are the most popular, though? Honestly...
