Nice video. and congrats to the winners.
I'm dropping IE6 support when I launch my new portfolio site. This video just justifies it for me - if you guys don't do it, why should I? LOL

I work for a web shop, I have decided that none of the sites I build will be tested in IE6. I found though, that about 10% of all the visits to some of our clients, came from IE6. We have been placing all types of things in place to let people know to upgrade their browser, so lets see how next month does...

@Wayne - Thanks for dropping by and commenting. I think the majority of people who are still using IE 6 are those that work at corporations who haven't upgraded yet.
Only when sites, that those corps rely on, stop supporting IE 6 will they seriously consider the change over. Until then we are forced to make compromises, but the sooner that small sites like this one and others stop support for Exploder, the better.

Interesting post guys,
First thing off the bat is that I work for an agency and do a few freelance projects in my spare time as you all know. And there is a big divide on opinion at work regarding this matter about supporting IE shit (sorry ment to say 6).
As a designer I fully support progressive enhancement and utilize as much CSS3 and JQuery (when needed) to shake your stick at, and have an absolute minimum fall back for IE. I do have to make sites wok in IE shits (did it again), but what I do is to make sure the functioanlity and layout is simular and leave it at that.
I do get fed up with no been able to push the real boat out with agency work but do try to implement what I can such as showdws , rounded corners and fontface etc but it feels a shame that some people will never see the final effort.
Regarding Freelance I do not support IE shits full stop unless they pay me extra. I do think every ie shits stylesheet should have display:none on the body tag and everyone will get the message. I am drafting a post/rant about ie shits and the users should be avoided like they have leprosy for the sake of the web so look forward to it...

Congrats to all the winners. Im boo hoo hooing into my Cheerios that I didnt win
But thanks for the great vid guys. I'm just setting up my design business and this confirms that I'm not wasting time with IE6 unless I'm compensated for it per hour just as you suggest. I definitely won't be bothering to make my own website compatibel with it and will encourage anyone still stuck in the dark ages to move on.

I won one!! Seriously? Are you sure? LOL
I never win anything xD
Thank you guys!
