Vloggers as rock stars! Sweet!

Well said guys. Aside from the camera being spectacularly knocked (been there, done that!), the video was fun. And that limo . . . yeah! Now that's a limo!

@Marc, you've totally got that 70's look going on there!

from cell phone video to camera to a limo, nice transition :) can't wait to see whats next.

So with your interest in twitter as a standalone tool declining, would you continue recomending to put one's twitter account url as personal site, instead of the actual site, in comments and profiles etc. the way you said we should a while back?

You guys are right on the marketing front. I really like your model for driving traffic and am attempting to properly emulate it.

Agreed on the point David that Twitter seems to be losing its luster among the average/casual user. We already know Twitter has a terrrible user-retention rate, some outlandish % of new users who don't log in after merely one month of use.

I do think that Twitter holds the ability to forge new connections rather easily based upon comfort factors. On facebook, when you Friend someone you see their entire profile, pictures, etc etc. I think it makes Facebook users less inclined to find new "friends." (Of course this doesnt pertain to Facebook Pages, though).

On Twitter you merely see a short bio, location and profile picture. This provides a level of comfort and security in connecting with many random people -- they have less private information to find out about you, and vice versa.

@Dave - You're spot on about Twitter vs. Facebook, Twitter is a lot less personal, and so people are more ready to connect with each other, whereas Facebook there's so much more personal information at hand which people may not want to share..

@Blade - It was good times. I think you'd have suited the limo to a tee mate... Next time we'll pull some strings. Uhhh, if there is such a thing as next time!

I completely agree about twitter losing some steam... it got too big too fast, and people's hopes were way too high. Now it seems like it's starting to come back to reality.
