About the Show
Recently RamsayMedia contacted us to have a meeting about video blogging and the online space.
RamsayMedia are the publishers of South Africa's most popular car magazine called 'CAR'. By the end of the meeting we came up with the idea that Marc and David would test their car's and post an online episode of their experiences.
This video is the first test, if Ramsay like it then you will likely see a new show spurned out of this content which will be called 'From the Car'.
The test of a test involved us driving the new (to South Africa) Mazda 3 2.5. Overall we thought it was a good car but didn't suit our age group. However if you are looking to buy a VW Golf then this is a great alternative due to it's spec and price.
We must say a huge thanks to Paul Cartmel from New Media Labs who dropped our name in a presentation at Ramsay which resulted in this test.

I would definatly watch you guys test cars, depending how much freedom you had to be silly and serious... "Top Gear" has finished this season so bring on From the Car!

Funny thing about this video is that I've just bought myself a Mazda 3. Not that particular model though (which here in Australia is called the SP25). I got the one below that (Maxx Sport). Pick it up Monday.

I liked that vid! It was cool to see where you guys live! Nice scenery and such.
It seems like a cool car. The gadgets are nice, but prone for accident lol And I think I know what you mean about the steering feeling too light. We have a Malibu Maxx, and the steering is so light, that it's too easy to over steer. It's okay for in town, but highway driving and winter, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I prefer a solid feeling car. Glad you guys had fun though!

Very cool, I think this is like a dream job for most people. Without doubt a lot of jealous viewers for this video I think.
The car actually looks much nicer in your videos than it does in any of the posters or pictures I've seen of it. It's nice to see it from your view, a more real and definitely younger view than what I'm used to on TV and such, I say this because as much as I love TopGear it's a bit over-analytical and I feel a lot of the issues and problems they talk about aren't really relevant to me at my age.

Looks like a mean car, but I have to agree, the actual ride doesn't suite the look of the vehicle..
