About the Show

In episode 171 Dave shows you a high-speed screencast of changing the color scheme for a site design that they are doing for a client.

We also discuss the redesign of our footer for Obox Design. You will see us make a poor attempt at wireframing it and then finding inspiration.

Throughout the show we talk about our new theme 'Press', we show you color schemes and discuss why we made it.

Nice FW tip at the end. I tend to use styles-assets/menu for that but its cool to have many different ways to do the same thing.

Love Press, excellent theme guys. I am huge minimalist fan, so this theme is right up my ally. I especially like what you have done with the gallery, very unique.

I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now, how come you use fireworks instead of photoshop? If I recall, fireworks had web design features that photoshop didnt a few years ago, but I thought photoshop caught up. Is it just a personal preference, or are there features fireworks offers that photoshop doesn't?

Love the new shows guys and thanks heaps for the Fireworks tips! Press looks great and I think its probably my fav. Looks like you both could do with a holiday!!
