Still think your homepage is fantastic. Nice to see you using Vimeo now, my favorite video service. (Is this permanent or was it because of upload problems)
I think the homepage is cool on twitter, but it seems very pointless as I imagine most people who are going to search twitter will probably be logged in? So really I'd like to see the homepage used in place of: search.twitter.com
Happy Birthday Marc!

@Liam - I am going to do a post titled 'Why our site design sucks', I have already taken the screenshots and highlighted the errors in red. I will change your mind mate ;)
With regards to Vimeo... judging by the amount of times the video has been watched we may stay with them for a bit as a test. But the only reason we went with Vimeo with this episode was because our file kept on getting corrupted when we uploaded to Viddler.
I must be honest though, the Vimeo video screen does look quite cool with the rest of the site design.

Very nice! I really like the new layout for the show. The new theme looks fantastic so far, I can't wait to see more than a few little circles :)

Enjoying the new look of the show. A bit more fun and flexible than the original. Miss the Couch though. :) But I'm sure it will have guest appearances.
The new Twitter page is great in that you can quickly search anything, including popular tags. But the hiding of the login box . . . I personally find that frustrating. I can't just hit my keyboard and start typing my login name. I've got to tab first. Okay, so it's only three more seconds, but it's still one extra step before login.
Are you still having trouble compressing a proper screencast of your work on the computers? Just wondering.

@Rachel - I agree with the extra clicks etc. but there was always going to be a compromise of some kind. I would give it 7/10 for now.
In terms of the screencasts, I am going to test it on my new PC today. Hopefully it is quicker :)

@David Good luck with the new PC! I'll be looking forward to the results.
As for Twitter, login and front end pages are sort of secondary to the services the site provides. The day Twitter really starts to mess with the ease of the actual Twitter experience, I'll be truly unhappy. I suppose my frustration at the new login page is an indication of how addicted to the site I've become!

I loved that episode! Golfing with an awesome view and remote control cars *thumbs up*. What's the name of the beach that's behind your building?

Main thing I don't like about the main Twitter page (and was an issue with the old design too) is that your login doesn't automatically swap to https. You have to actually use the address https://www.twitter.com if you want a secure login.
Love the remote control car too. Might have to put in an order for my next birthday :-)
