Nice vid guys, need to coin that term "Moti" :)

Definitely agree with the concept of failing as a means of learning, it is crucial not to fear failing bu to use it as a lunching pad for improvement.

Check out an article I wrote about this a while back www.thisisaaronslife.com/8-ways-we-fail-at-failing/

keep up the great content

The last few bits at the end were wicked...that's the sort of stuff people'll pay to see -- why they pay you cats the bigbucks.

Enjoyed the racing analogy -- I remember discussing like that in first year uni Organizational Behaviour -- overloading on the stress -- going beyond the pale -- in order to find the steady state. If I'm not mistaken, this is a Korean-perfected technique.

You'll soon have to report on a third up-and-coming videoblogger, inspired by these catchy eps.

Great post! I agree with you guys 100%. I think that up till now, that was my problem, I was scared. Unfortunately, when you're scared you can't make any progress in your career. Thanks!

Most of the most successful people fail many times before they succeed. That's how they learn. Take Donald Trump for instance. How many times has he declared bankruptcy?

@Tim - Yip being scared can definitely be a hazard in your route to success. But sometimes you have to take that fear on and tackle it 100% which is kind of what we did when we started From the Couch... the fear of talking on camera was rather overwhelming sometimes!

@Mare - We make more!

@Colorburned - If you don't fail once or twice you won't know when you have succeeded. Trump is the perfect example of someone who was willing to take the risk and learn from the experience.

@Patrick - Haha, good line ;)

Hey guys, thanks for the mention. Just catching up on your recent episodes so I'm a bit late to the party ;-)

The trying and failing is definitely true for my latest video ventures, I've only created three vids so far, but with what's got to be near 20 attempts. I'm finding it hard work and extremely awkward, but each failed attempt makes talking to myself in an empty room seem a little easier.

By the way, just to mention you two were part of my inspiration to get more into the video side of things, you're the first guys I've seen talking about design in video other than in screencast tutorials. Keep it up ;-)

@Chris - Dude you got some awesome content lurking in that head of yours. I wouldn't be too worried if I was you, you are cool on Cam. What I used to do was just zone out and just focus purely on what I was speaking about. I looked straight through the camera. Try that if you get nervous.
