About the Show
Before Marc and David started blogging, things weren't nearly as rosy as they seem today.
Without a doubt, taking the initiative to start a blog and then blog everyday has resulted in increased and consistent turnover.
We highly recommend that, if you haven't started one, you do so soon.
Good luck and have fun!

It's never too early to start posting your link on sites. Unless maybe you haven't bought your domain name yet. Otherwise, its great to start building a little link juice prior to having your site up and running. Users might go to it and never come back, but search engines will see it there, and when your site is up and running, it will hit better.

Howsit,
Where do you find the time to blog dudes?
I don't have a blog yet... but I can tell you now, I'm too busy to blog about work. If I wasn't busy then I wouldn't dig blogging about work.
Which leads me to my second question for the peanut gallery from the couch (hehe)... where & how do you make the split from your work and your life. I feel like they are a mesh at the moment. I've tried setting boundaries but I just keep on pushing those over. Any tips I can give a whizz?
PS I suppose I do (micro) blog via Twitter!! Follow my crazy twitters twitter.com/steedles or follow my work related twitters twitter.com/designbysteed

More entertaining and informative stuff guys. Really like it. However can you please put the urls that you are talking about into the Viddler comments thing so that they pop up over the video when you mention them. It took me almost 8 seconds to Google "We Are not Freelancers" and find the link!!!!

Nice one guys, glad things are working out for you and I completely agree with all the points you make. Especially the late nights & American clients :)
@Frequency Design - To be fair to the guys they are usually posting the links within their videos, and there is also a link to wearenotfreelancers in their sidebar. :)

Great advice. It definitely helps give the site a more human touch, along with connections that can be picked up by search engines.
I'm just getting into blogging myself. I've always avoided it cause I'm usually terrible with words or think that someone else has already covered topics that explain it better than I do.
I'm over that though and it's actually fun to write. In the mean time I'll keep checking on your vids.

Glad we could be of help guys, @Alex I hope you come around again ;)
@Liam - You are much more experienced than us when it comes to dealing with USA clients! Any tips?
