About the Show
Today is the one year anniversary of From the Couch and of course this calls for a good old montage video.
We'd just like to thank you to everyone who has taken the time to watch and comment on our shows. The success From the Couch has brought us was never expected and we are humbled to still be alive and kicking.
We also suggest that you check out We Are not Freelancers to find out about our permanent $20 special!
Nat has put together some clips; some funny, some odd.
Enjoy it!

Obox joins the Tumblr Premium theme directory
Last week Tumblr announced its new Premium Theme directory and since we have been in the premium micro blogging market for a long time now (we consider ourselves the first to the market) we felt obligated to jump on board. The moment Tumblr made the announcement we managed to get hold of them and propose that we contribute to their new section. No less than 10 minutes later we got a reply

Interview with Mike Stopforth Part 2

About the Show
For ages we have tried to get one of South Africa's most popular 'webbies' on From the Couch.
Mike Stopforth isn't doing too badly for someone who has been around in the web world for less than 5 years.
He founded Cerebra and co-founded Afrigator and 27 Dinners. All three of those ventures are successful and highly respected in South African, and even international, cirlces. So it goes without saying that he belonged on our couch for at least 30mins.
He talks about starting up, Nintendo and doing sales.
Oh yes, he also got hit by a plane and survived.

I'm first? Good grief! I think Mike's success in the SA web space is all the more impressive, given that he's so damn laid-back! Like the antithesis of a Gary Vaynerchuck, but crushing it none-the-less. Marc and David, your interview shows really *are* some of your best work. *applause*...

About the Show
David ventures out of the Obox HQ to the Seacom Conference in Durban.
He meets up with Charl Norman, Jason Bagley and others to see what's going on with Africa's internet breakthrough. They kind of miss the point, fuel their tired bodies with Red Bull and mistake a heavy duty generator for THE INTERNET.
Serious stuff not mentioned in this post:

About the Show
David and Marc attended the Net Prophet Conference in Cape Town and filmed some of the speeches, unfortunately the battery didnt last and so we couldn't include all of the them. We've tried to highlight what we found most valuable in the ones we did film.
This includes:
- "Venture Capital" by Henk Kleynhans
- "E-Commerce" by Andrew Smith
- "Blogging" by Charl Norman
